The Standard Double Room was clean and had a good bed. Air conditioning worked great, so I was comfy during the night. There was some peeling paint in the bathroom, though. It was nice and quiet, making for a decent stay.

authentic western style, pleasant pool area, effective air conditioning
Reception staff could be more welcoming!!! The on-site restaurant lacks atmosphere and variety!!! Peeling paint in the bathroom shows some neglect!!! With some effort, this charm could shine even brighter!!!

The staff was friendly and the Halloween-themed decor at reception was a nice touch. The room was clean and quiet, providing a great night's sleep with an effective air conditioning system. Also, we enjoyed a delicious breakfast at a nearby café, which was conveniently located.

Why didn't I try this sooner?
What a charming stay! The authentic vibe of the old cowboy-style rooms, paired with a central location that's a stone's throw from the AZ Scenic Trail, made my visit delightful. The staff was friendly, and I appreciated the effective air conditioning. Can’t wait to return for more adventures in this quaint spot!

Recommend it for a relaxing getaway
Had a good dinner in the hotel restaurant, tried the steak with onions and it was mouthwatering. The staff was friendly and made sure everything was perfect for my stay.
It wasn't cheap but acceptable for the experience offered.

We had a fantastic stay here with our teens! The hotel's location was perfect for wandering around town. We loved relaxing by the pool. Afternoon birdwatching at the nearby Paton Center was a hit—seeing hummingbirds up close blew everyone away!
My kids wished for more family-friendly activities on-site.

We had a great time with friends. The hotel offered a cozy room, and we went birdwatching and hiking nearby. The staff put in effort to create a welcoming environment, and an effective air conditioning system kept us comfortable. Don’t miss breakfast at The Gathering Place down the street.
The pool area could use some attention. With a little TLC, it could really elevate the overall experience.

The hotel's charm and authentic western decor truly set it apart. It is conveniently located within walking distance to local eateries and the AZ Scenic Trail, which I found particularly beneficial during my stay. The pool area is a nice touch for relaxation after a long day, and the overall cleanliness of the accommodations enhanced my experience.
Wi-Fi signal was weak in my room.

I stayed for a business trip and appreciated the charming, authentic vibe of the hotel, especially the quirky old-time cowboy/western style in the room. The pleasant pool and clean accommodations definitely added to my experience. However, the reception staff could have been more welcoming, and the restaurant lacked atmosphere, which made dining there less appealing.
